VBA - Supress message when sheet opens

I open a new book with external links as part of a macro.

Therefore I get a This workbook contains..... message.

Workbooks.Open Filename:= _
        "\\tt-serv\company\Spares\Spares Orders\Spares Order Log.xls", _
        UpdateLinks:=0
    Range("A30").Select
    Selection.End(xlDown).Select

I assume the updatelinks:=0 should work - But doesn't?

Try this before opening the workbook:

Application.AskToUpdateLinks = False

This didn't work - I still get the same message.

Using XL2000 if it makes any difference?

It worked when I tried it:

Sub Test()
    Application.AskToUpdateLinks = False
    Workbooks.Open Filename:= _
        "C:\Users\Andrew\Documents\MrExcel\FileLinks\Book2.xls", UpdateLinks:=0
End Sub

sorted - just deleted it and started again -
