VBA (SQL) Noobie - What course

HI everyone,

Excellent forum have found loads useful already.

Slightly OT but I am finding that I need to use VBA and or SQL more in my job. I have no background in this and have never studied it other than a curiosity glance.

My question is, what would be a good course and / or qualification to go for in trying to learn more of this stuff, what has people got? My company may be prepared to pay for it, as long as i can make it relevent to my job.
