Hi All,

Is there a way to automatically click on the 'Enable Content' button of the [SECUTITY WARNING Some active content has been disabled. Click for more details. 'Enable Content' ]??

If not, is there a way to represent this ribbon click; as an actual automatic pop-up message box upon opening the macro documents?

Thanks you!

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
No there is not. That dialog is a feature of Excel's security.

Discussion of how to defeat security features is not allowed on this board.

Hi,

I'm not looking to defeat security as I clearly wrote:

I'm looking for a way through C++ to replace this ribbon to a pop-up message box.

If you do not know, its okay not to respond.

Thank you

If you can install an addin in the user's machine then a pop up message can be displayed to inform the user that Macros have been disabled for that particular workbook upon opening. This popup is probably more noticeable than the default excel security Warning strip located accross the top.

Unfortunately, we can't discuss here how to click the "Enable Content" security button via code from the addin as it is against the board rules and would be unethical.

Alternatively,If all you need is to avoid the "annoying" default security warning from appearing in the first place for this particular workbook, you can ask the user's permission to save the workbook file in an approved location via Developper tab>Security>Approved Locations>Add New Location .. These steps have to be done in excel in the user's machine.
