Hi all,

Is there a way to create a referenced searchable dropdown list without using a ComboBox or Excel365?

For example, If I have a list of countries and I type the first letter of the entry in the cell to have the list display all of those countries with that first letter?

For reference, here is what I'm working with:

In the article here, it does allow this to happen, but you have to continually select on the dropdown list to see what being selected else it remains hidden.

Please let me know!

Thank you,
pinaceous

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
In the new version of Office 365, creating a Data Validation in a cell should give you want you want. Excel changed recently to start filtering the values provided in the list as you add characters.
