Hi,

I'm trying to reduce the number of rows in my range by a value, usually 1 or 2. So essentially, Im trying to go from having my range being A1:A3 to A2:A3, I am able to do it the other way round (A1:A3 to A1:A2) but not this way?

Any ideas?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
You have to do two things, you need to offset the initial range and resize it:

Code:
Sub test()
Dim c As Range, numrows As Long
numrows = 1
Set c = Range("A1:A3")
c.Offset(numrows).Resize(c.Rows.Count - numrows).Select
End Sub
