Microsoft Excel 2000 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.5
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o>
I have a situation with a single file that is not repeated with other similar files. I have written multiple modules of VBA macros and am being required to password protect the code. I put the password in the Visual Basic Editor’s Tools menu under VBAProject Properties on the Protection tab and click the “Lock Project for Viewing”. I get an error message when trying to save the file.
<o> </o>
You cannot save to this file format when the VBA project is protected.<o></o>
<o> </o>
You may unprotect the VBA project by choosing the Properties command on the Visual Basic Editor’s Tools menu, and entering the password for the active project.
<o></o>
I have another file written in the same time and software version numbers that does not generate this error message.
<o> </o>
What can I do to resolve this issue?
