VBA - Preventing Files from saving in "protected view"

Hi All,

Since receiving a new laptop from work, a macro that I run has consequently started saving files in "protected view" (with the red bar along the top to say everything is disabled).

This means that I am subsequently having to open each of the files that are created in order to select "edit anyway" and then save.

Is there a setting that I can use that would resolve this? I am assuming there isn't any VBA code required, because my VBA hasn't changed between laptops?

Any help greatly appreciated, having to open all the files (70+) each week is causing me some frustration.

Regards,
Simon

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi Simon,
Under Developer Macro Security you can change the rules on protected view files
Cheers,
Jerry
