Hi all, I find myself always posting on the forums and asking for assistance with VBA. Majority of the times I get the help I need which is great, but usually have a hard time understanding what the code actually does/means. I would say I'm an advanced Excel user but still a beginner with VBA. I know how to record macros and slightly enhance the code if needed.

So this question goes out to my VBA gurus: Where is a good place to start WRITING my own VBA code? Recording macros is great and all, but I want to learn how to actually write my own so I can make my macro more efficient and eliminate any extra lines of code if necessary.

Would love to hear everyone's suggestion. Thanks!

The below link is good to take you from the very first steps in VBA

Once you have the basic fundamentals of VBA, the below link is one of my favorites

Also, I have gained a lot of understanding by browsing Mr. Excel forums & seeing how the members solve other peoples' problems. It is really fun especially once you could understand the potential of it & how it could make your work easier/more efficient !
