VBA / Outlook

Dear Community,


I need help with the following and would really appreciate any and all of your help.


Currently I have 2 rules set up in my outlook inbox where whenever I send and email it 1)Automatically CC's me and 2) flags this email. Meaning that when I send an email it appears in my inbox as a flagged item for follow up.


What I'm trying to accomplish is a VBA macro that with either run continuously (preferably; don't know if this will create issues) or off of a command button that will:


1) Review my inbox and to determine if I have received a response to a flagged item.
2) If so, permanently delete the original email


Any code, help or guidance would go a long way. Thank you!

Wow, sounds like you're writing an Outlook plugin. This calls for a better programming language! I have good news for you! Much of what you learned here with VBA will help you in the world of VB.NET

Try this question in a VB.NET forum and you will get a much better response. You might even find there are Outlook libraries for VB.NET that have done all the hard work for you!
