Hi all,
I've got an interesting problem here. There is a cell in a worksheet where if the user enters anything but A,B,C,D (or blank) I want a message box to pop up.
I cut it off here to A and B only for the sake of simplicity. The problem is the "<>". Entering both "A" and "B" cause the msgbox to show, I'm not sure how to fix this. Any thoughts?
(P.S. to test the OR statement I changed the <> to = and the code works, obviously opposite the way I want, but it is for this reason that I know the problem lies with the <>)
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Code:
Sub validate_prim_rel_state()
Dim cell_value
cell_value = Sheet1.Cells(37, 8).Value
If cell_value <> "A" Or cell_value <> "B" Then
MsgBox "Primary Relationship State Invalid"
End
End If
End Sub
