Hello,

I am new to the forum but I hope someone has a solution for me. I currently have an ongoing list of people who have "checked in", and receive a new list each week of people who have "departed". Basically, I would like to be able to have a macro that I would be able to run and match the named entry (ie. name, dob and check in date) from the checked in list to that of the departed list but then add the departed date and time spent, without having duplicated information. The pictures below will provide more clarity.

Checked in list - ongoing list

So basically if there were a macro that would match the name from the departed list with the checked in list and simply add columns 'departed date' and 'time spent' to the checked in list.

Ideal End Result

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
I tried combining both lists together then removing duplicates if match in first 3 (a,b,c) columns using the built in filter option within excel, however, it deletes the row with the data in column D, E.

Stuck here.
