Hello, I need to write a macro for outlook and was finding it hard to find resources to explain how to do it. I am quite familiar with VBA macros in excel.

The macto needs to take any e-mail that gets put into a folder, stripp the text out and append it to a text file.

Do you know of any good places to look for information on doing this?
Do you know how to get Outlook to display a record macro button?
Have you done something similar and can share your code?

I know that this is a Excel forum but I can't find a Outlook forum. I would be happy if you could suggest one.

Thanks
