Hi all,

ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = _
"=HYPERLINK(""C:\Users\MarySmith\Downloads\""&TEXT(RC[-8],"&"".PDF"")"

This VBA code keeps failing me.
RC[-8] is a file name without pdf, which I need.
I think I just have quotation marks and ampersands muddled! but i'm looking for address with name then pdf, thanks
Many thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Maybe
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = _
"=HYPERLINK('C:\Users\MarySmith\Downloads\'" & "RC[-8]" & ".PDF" & ")"""
OR
FormulaR1C1 = _
"=HYPERLINK('C:\Users\MarySmith\Downloads\'" & "RC[-8].PDF" & ")"""

If RC[-8] is really the file name, I'm not seeing a need to concatenate it so there's the 2nd example.
