VBA hiding passwords in code

I have a hard coded password in my macro, but I don't want it to be visible if someone chooses to go look at my code.

Is there a way to have it hard coded and hidden from view?

protect the VBA would be my solution - I believe that that is a much harder password to crack than the normal workbook/worksheet password.
