I'm trying to hide complete rows based on the dates within cell H and I. If cell H or I has a date that is older than today I would like them to be hidden from sight. I don't want the blank cells to be included with the hiding of rows.

You can try something like this.

VBA Code:
Private Sub HideSomeRows()
Dim lrow As Long

lrow = Sheet13.Cells.Find("*", searchorder:=xlByRows, searchdirection:=xlPrevious).Row

For x = 7 To lrow
    If IsDate(Sheet13.Range("H" & x)) = True Then
        If Sheet13.Range("H" & x) < Now() Then
           Sheet13.Range("H" & x).EntireRow.Hidden = True
        End If
    End If
    If IsDate(Sheet13.Range("I" & x)) = True Then
        If Sheet13.Range("I" & x) < Now() Then
           Sheet13.Range("I" & x).EntireRow.Hidden = True
        End If
    End If
Next x
End Sub
