VBA- Global Databases?

Hi, I am trying to make a global macro that involves inputting VLOOKUP formulas into cells. The problem is that the data being looked up has to be pasted into a workbook that already has the data tables that need to be referenced. My question is if/how I can make global data ranges that a global macro can reference so I don't have to copy and paste lookup data into another workbook or use formulas that reference another workbook (info is saved on servers that continuously change location so this reference would become unusable rather quickly). Thanks, Barklie
