Hi
In general, this is great text for people just getting started in VBA. Especially liked the 5 tips in Chapter 2. It wouldn't hurt to have more "tip" examples because VBA can be so daunting to the beginner.
One weakness, however, was Chapter 24, page 498. There were no code examples given for attaching a menu to a Command button. It just said it could be done. There were code examples given for attaching to a tool bar and for creating a tool bar, but no code examples for attaching to a Command button. I haven't been able to figure out how to do it from the limited information given and have been unable to find any literature about it anywhere else. Can it be done in Excel 2000 ?
Also, the Userform Chapers were difficult to understand compared to other literature I've read.
Providing complete examples is a must for the beginners.
Other than those 2 areas, I thought the book is a must read. I have found it amazing the things I have been able to do thanks to this book.
Thanks
Brett
