Hi,

I work on a tool that formats Excel charts for best fit to a powerpoint template.
My organisation produces projections on different kinds of topics. We make lots of graphs with dotted series for the projection period.
Before copy to Powerpoint it is necessary to tweak the dotted series so that in presenter view the dots are still visible (the dotted series need to have line size 1).

Could someone help me on the code to check if a series is dotted or dashed.

Thank you in front

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
You can check Series.Format.Line.DashStyle, which can have values from the msoLineDashStyle enumeration (msoLineSolid, msoLineRoundDot, msoLineSquareDot, msoLineDash, msoLineLongDash, etc.).
