VBA E-Mail: Adding Mail Tracking to Excel VBA E-Mailer App.

I have written an Excel app that sends out E-Mails to a list (separate Excel spreadsheet) of recipients., builds personalized "greetings" to the recipients and individualized PDF files as well as attaching static PDFs. I would like to either be able to link to an E-Mail tracking service with these E-Mails or create some sort of tracking capability within the App. I wrote the App to send individual messages to a group because I could never know who actually read their E-Mail using a free E-Mail tracker. But alas, I can now send individual E-Mails but can't track them. Yes, I could use a "pro" version I suppose but I am looking to save the cost of doing that. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps this is too big a bite to chew off??
Thank you,
