[VBA] Difference between OLEFormat and ControlFormat?

Oftentimes, I confused myself with OLEFormat and ControlFormat.
To clarify my understanding, is that OLEFormat must refer to ActiveX Controls while ControlFormat must refer to Form Controls?
Sometimes I notice cross-application of them among ActiveX controls and Form Controls.
What is the correct moment to use each of them?
