vba default to cell A1 while sub is running

Is there a way to set the cell designation to A1 of while the sub is running?

For example:

Sheet1.Range("A1").Select 'Do while sub is activated

Please post a code, if you have one.

I think I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to use a data validation pop up to select that while the sub runs.
