Hi,

Is there a VBA to create a new directory and copy a template into it?

I know it is:
MkDir NewFolder

How do you copy a template into NewFolder? thanks

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hello rictime123,

Below is an example of how to copy a file to the new folder.

Code:
Sub Macro1()

    Dim File      As string
    Dim NewFolder As Variant ' <--- THIS MUST BE A VARIANT

        File = "C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Template.xlst"
        NewFolder = "H:\Templates"

        With CreateObject("Shell.Application")
            .Namespace(NewFolder).CopyHere File
        End With

End Sub
