Hi,
I am trying to copy into an excel file the data stored into two different excel files.
I am doing this process in a very repetitive way and I would like to automatize most of it.
The macro basically have to:

1) Ask me which is the file A.
2) Ask me which is the file B.
3) Copy some values from different tabs in A.
4) Paste those values in file C.
5) Copy some values from different tabs in B after summing values according to a filter.
6) Paste those values in file C.

Could you help me with the basic structure of the macro, I am struggling with it. I already started with the process to actually select the file instead of writing the full path….but I am stucked.

Dim path As String
With Application.FileDialog(msoFileDialogOpen).Show
If .SelectedItems.Count = 1 Then
path = .SelectedItems(1)
End If
End With

I would appreciate any help or other similar old post I could not find :)
