1. How do I write VBA to convert a range to a table (with color scheme selection).
2. How do I write VBA that will detect if a table exist then revert it to range (unformatting the color scheme selection).
many thanks..

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
1.
Sub A_SelectAllMakeTable()
Dim tbl As ListObject
Dim rng As Range

Set rng = Range(Range("A1"), Range("A1").SpecialCells(xlLastCell))
Set tbl = ActiveSheet.ListObjects.Add(xlSrcRange, rng, , xlYes)
tbl
.TableStyle = "TableStyleMedium15"
End Sub

2.
Sub ConvertToRange()
ActiveSheet.ListObjects(1).Unlist
End Sub
