Hello,
This is my very first message in this forum, so please excuse me if I make something not compliant...
I am currently having a problem with what seems to be an incompatibility between the VBA code, and the regional/language settings in some user's PC around the world.
I created a customized ribbon menu for Excel, to be used by the users of our consolidation/reporting system, Hyperion Financial Management (the toolbar is intended to be used in combination with Hyperion Smart View, the Excel interface). I developed it on a Office version based on English language.
I received messages from users based in Russia and Norway, reporting the error "Compile error in hidden module:modSmartView. This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform or architecture of this application [...]"
Now, I tried to install myelf such ntoolbar on an Italian Excel version, and it works correctly, (and I haven't received any email from other countries) so I am really wondering what might be that triggers such error.
Have you ever experienced this? Could it be something I have to add to my code, or is it a specific setting that has to be enabled on Those computers?
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the error, for now, so I can't proced by trial and error...
Thank you
