VBA Code Works Until I Reopen PPT File

Anyone know why a VBA code might work, and then I save and close the file, and when I reopen it, the code doesn't work anymore? Previously the file was crashing whenever I tried to copy & paste code within the VBA module, and again when I would reopen the code would no longer work...
