Hi :) Am I able to use VBA to prompt a user to select a cell in a worksheet? This will then govern the row for the rest of the actions within the macro

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Try something like this:
VBA Code:
Sub My_Script()
'Modified 12/3/2020  2:23:29 AM  EST
Dim c As Long
c = Application.InputBox("Select Cell", Default:=Selection.Address, Type:=8).Row
Cells(c, 1).Value = "Me"
End Sub
