Hello
does any one know if it possible to have text flash for say 15 seconds to tell the user of an error. I have an if statement in cell c2 with an error message and if the error messages appears I would like the message to flash for say 15 seconds. Thank you if any one can help

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
How about a simple message box which forces user to acknowledge the error

Goes in SHEET module (does not work in standard module)
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate()
    If [c2] = "Error message" Then MsgBox [c2]
End Sub
