Hi,
I have the code below which I have used before but it doesn't seem to want to work anymore?
Can anyone see what's wrong with it or suggest an alternative as simple as this to concatenate a range of cells?
many thanks.

Range("AE4").Select
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=combine(R5C29:R10000C29)"
Range("AE5").Select

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
routinely no because I display the comments in an embedded Form.TextBox so that limits what I can display.
I would be happy for code that starts at cell AC5 and goes down the column to the last row.

Hi,
I tried to adapt the code you gave me in another spreadsheet by entering it twice as I need to do two lots of concatenation in one macro but it failed - obviously what I've done is incorrect. I just simply added a second block of code (see below) with the new cell refereneces in it but I got 'Compile Error - Duplicate declaration in current scope' on the last line... 100 Cells(1, 38) = myconcat. As I don't know what the '100' does I couldn't make any adjustments to it.
Any help much appreciated.
Code:
For j = 6 To 1000
If Cells(6, 35) = "" Then GoTo 100
myconcat = myconcat & Cells(j, 35)
Next j
100 Cells(1, 35) = myconcat

For j = 6 To 1000
If Cells(6, 38) = "" Then GoTo 100
myconcat = myconcat & Cells(j, 38)
Next j
100 Cells(1, 38) = myconcat

the 100 line is there because the second line references it (you do not normally concatenate blank cells)

you cannot have 2 rows labelled 100

in the lower block alter the 100 to 1000 in second and fifth lines

Hi,
Thanks for coming back on this.
I did that and it works fine in the first block of code but concatenates twice in the second block, eg. Apples Pears Oranges Apples Pears Oranges
Any thoughts

you have 6,35 instead of J,35 - - - not surprised because it is my error originally - - - sorry

it works on first block because there are no gaps
