I have not been able to locate the VBA code that will run the new feature in excel to Check the Performance of the spreadsheet and accept the optimization recommendations.

Is it out there?

Sorry if this is a duplicate post, if it is, I will delete.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
I would try running the ribbon command as suggested in post of 20 Sep, 2007 04:56:30 here. It's something I've done in Access but the method is different for Excel. I can't test anything because I don't seem to have the optimize feature on my ribbon seeing as how I have updates turned off. I'm way behind and am fine with that. You may have to research to find the name of the command to use.
