"We can't update some of the links in your workbook right now....."

VBA code to ensure that upon opening the spreadsheet this automatically selects "continue" to this message?

Any ideas please?

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Not tested.. Handle with care

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
End Sub

Then set DisplayAlerts back to True as soon as possible, e.g. with

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_SheetSelectionChange(ByVal Sh As Object, ByVal Target As Range)
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
End Sub

This disables any alert messages, so be aware that any other messages that show up upon opening the WB will be hidden as well.
