Hi, I am working on automating a few processes. I created a form with a series of buttons. One of the buttons I want to use "On Click" to run a find duplicates query that I have. However, I don't want the query to open up, I merely want a message box to pop-up telling me if a duplicate was found or not. How do I write code to check the contents of a query?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
You can use the DCOUNT function in VBA to count if there are any records being returned by your duplicate query (check to see if it the count is greater than zero).
See: MS Access: DCount Function
