vba cell resizing problem

I've got a For..Next statement that inputs a piece of text into the activecell, then colours the cell and adds a border. My problem now is that I need it to adjust the column width so I can read all of the text that is in that cell, which it doesn't do at the moment. In ‘layman vba’ this is what I’m after<o></o>

Resize activecell so all text can be seen.<o></o>
<o> </o>
Any help/suggestion will be very much appreciated<o></o>

ActiveCell.EntireColumn.AutoFit

Activecell.Columns(1).Autofit
