VBA calculate

Hi,

in a template, i want people to complete an amount in cell L23. If this an amount is added, i want excel to multiply this amount by 3 and overwrite the original amount.

Is this possible in VBA?

   If Target = Range("L23") Then
      Application.EnableEvents = False
      Target.Value = Target.Value * 3
