I'm new to VBA and cutting and pasting macros from Excel isn't hacking it anymore. I'm looking to purchase a comprehensive book that'll help me, as a beginner, to learn VBA from the bottom up. A friend of mine suggested 'VBA for Modelers: Designing Desicion Support Systems..." by S. Christian Albright. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
The Dummies book by John Walkenbach is very good (it's where I started), but I also think something like the Bill Jelen book (VBA and Macros) is exceptionally good, and altho it does cover some advanced topics, it explains everything very clearly from the ground up, so you won't feel lost.

Best regards

Richard
