Hi all,

I think I'm overthinking this for certain, but could use some help.

I have an Excel Workbook that contains a number of worksheets related to ‘special’orders that I am required to place, progress and track through to receipt. The sheetsare named as follows “Demands”, “Cleared”, “Cancelled” and “Hastening”. The “Demands”and “Hastening” sheets are the only ones that I’m needing for this function, “Demands”contains a plethora of information about each and every outstanding ‘special’demand I have on my system, currently there are about 30, but this fluctuatesweekly, the “Hastening” sheet is a PivotTable showing the most important data togive a brief overview of the demands outstanding.

I am looking tointroduce a new ‘Hastening’ function that would,

  1. Copy all data contained on the PivotTable (“Hastening”) andsend it via email to Head Office

    and then

  2. Insert the text “Hastened by (username) on (system date)”in Column “AE” and also place todays date in “AF” of the “Demands” sheet forall rows to show that that line has been progressed and on what date.

I’ve managed toget part 1 sorted and working, but it is part 2 is where I’m falling over.

My problem isthat for part 2, the new text entry must not overwrite any textcontained within cell “AE” already.

Can anyone helpor point me into the direction of success please??
