I am taking a class in "VB.NET programming in Visual Studio". Man is there a lot there to learn, about the language and Object Oriented Programming! My only "vb-type" experience is VBA within Excel and Access.

Does anyone have any good recommendations of books to assist in making this jump? The course material we are using is very abstract and segmented, so it is difficult to see practical applications of how/why you would use it, and how you tie it all together (I love examples!).

Thanks

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
You might like "VSTO for mere mortals" or ".Net Development for Office" (although more C# orientated)
