VB editor takes spaces out of code GRRRR

When I start typing code and put a space in, the editor will take the space out and collapse the line so it has no spaces. This drives me nuts because if I hit enter a billasecond too late I end up messing up the code and get an error message. Example: I type If me.form = ?? then When I attempt to think between typing I get IFme.form=??.

I am guessing there is an option for this, but I don't know what it is. This only happens on one database, not all of them.

Thanks,

Greg

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
This sounds like a weird problem. Just to clarify, does it remove all spaces or just when you type certain things e.g. If Me ? Does it happen in one particular form or module, or is it all code modules in that particular database? Which version of Access are you using?

I'm certain that there's no setting that would cause this to happen and suspect there's a file problem. Post back with the info above and we'll take it from there.

Yeah, that's weird

I was afraid to post and say that it might be a random anomaly, but perhaps that's what it is.

You could work on the code in notepad, that's a bit less irritating than the VBE editor anyways...
