I tried using this VB script for my button but it errors out telling me my DB is already open (I'm trying to open another DB from within my main DB form On_Click...Can anyone assist me in this, I'm new to VB....Thanks

Private Sub Command50_Click()

Dim appAccess As New Access.Application

Set appAccess = Access.Application

appAccess.OpenCurrentDatabase "E:\Source\Distribution\MSCS Disbursements.accdb"

appAccess.Visible = True

End Sub

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Code:
Dim appAccess As New Access.Application

Set appAccess = Access.Application

The second line seems to be the one that's more important - it appears to overwrite or undo whatever the first one is doing. In general I don't like having two access applications open. Why not use only one? You can connect the tables from either one.
