Value to be interpreted

In A2, I want A if there is a value in A1 else B.
 

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Sort by date Sort by votes
A1 = #N/A. It is giving #N/A but I want B (since no value).
