I am creating a database for work orders. I have a table called "WorkOrderSummary", which is exactly what is sounds like, just a summary of the overall work order. I have as my main key a field called WONumber, which is an auto number. I then have a field called AssetNo, which pulls from another table called Assets.

So in my Work Order Summary form, when I search for an asset number, I get a list of all assets. When I choose the correct one, I was wanting the WONumber field to only display the numbers assigned to that asset. So, when I choose asset # 0668 from the asset list, 192 and 646 should be the only options in the WO Number list, but instead I see every Work order number there is. How do I fix this?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
it is not quite clear what you are trying to do. Only the basic idea is :)
where do you choose the asset # (is it a form, table ...) and where is the expected result to be seen (a subform, subdatasheet, a query ...) - how exactly do you try to get the result?

Please elaborate so someone can help.
Or am I missing something ?
