LOOKUP(2,1/(ISNUMBER(D:D)),D:D) will get me the last number in a column of data for which the values are #N/A after that last number. I would like to get the value in the column adjacent to this last number found by this LOOKUP formula.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Adjacent how? To the left? To the right?

I think perhaps it would be helpful if you showed us a small data sample along with your expected results.

The last argument is the range you want the data from so just change that:

Excel Formula:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(ISNUMBER(D:D)),E:E)

Solution
Not sure which column you want, as there are two adjacent columns, but maybe
Excel Formula:
=LOOKUP(2,1/(ISNUMBER(D:D)),E:E)
