L9 & R9 contains either "" (null) or values.
In S9, I want to get L9 or R9 whichever contains value.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
If the values are numerical, try

=(L9&R9)+0[/QUOTE]

L9 & R9 are formula generated cells. For "" (null) generated in L9 as well as R9, I got #VALUE! using this formula !!!

I thought one of the cells contained a value. If the formula returns "" or a number but both cells can be blank then my formula is not suitable. In any case VoG's should work fine. :)
