VAlidation rule-Easy

I have Access 2000 in spanish
A very easy question
I would like to create a validation rule in a table
I use the following examples

102
"a"O"B"

Meaning that I could only introduce 1 or 2 in a table
or
A or B in another table

I use the generator or write it myself
It does NOT work, there is a syntaxis problem
ANY IDEA???

In English Access it would be
1 Or 2
"A" Or "B"
You dont show any spacing and that may be your problem. try
1 O 2
"A" O "B"
