Hi everyone,

Sorry if this may have already been asked/discussed - I'm a new member on the forum :)

I was wondering if what I have in mind is possible in Excel.

I have a worksheet with names of Employees, Last Name (Column A) and First Name (Column B) separated in 2 columns. I used Data Validation in cell C1 to list the Last Names.

Would it be possible, for example, if I selected the Last Name "Jones" and cell D1 would have a validation list of all employee names whose Last Name is Jones?

Thanks so much for your help!

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
