Is there a way to shrink the drop down Validation fill handle or maybe even the slider. It seems excessively wide and it blocks the selection. I can't resize the selection area as printing is an issue. Thank you in advance.

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Try creating the list in the column containing the drop downs but first set it to the width you need. Then resize it smaller. Worked for me

Thanks, Google!

I tried that but it didn't work for me. :( But here's what I tried and it worked. It was so simple too. All I did was go down to the 'Zoom Level' on the right hand side of the page and opened it up to 101% instead of the 85% I usually have it set. Opened it right up! Thank you for your suggestion!

Not sure what you tried. That means you re-created the list in a wider column? If not then I can see why not. The key sees to be the column width when the validation is created.

No. Nothing to do at all with the width of the column with the named range information. Just opened up the page that held the Validation from the 85% to 101%. I initially tried 150% and it opened the validation width as seen above. I then kept lowering the Zoom Level to 101%. 100% Zoom shrunk it again. Who knew?
