Hi I wish to insert a calculated Row in the pivot table

However when i try to create a calculated item the following message comes
"Multiple data fields of the same field are not supported when a pivot table report has calculated items."

As well as if i wish to create a new field which uses other other items in a field i am not able to select the items.

Any help on this.....

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Welcome to the forum. You will find plenty of people here that can help with just about anything.

You need to give us some more specific information.

What does the source data look like (REAL column names are important, real data not so much)
What are you putting in the various parts of the pivot table?
How are you defining the calculated field?

While pivot tables APPEAR to pay attention to the case in column names they don't really. FirstCase is the same column name as firstcase. When defining the calculated field you need to give it a name that is not the same as any other field name.
