Is it possible to use wildcard characters to replace single quotes by double quotes?

I tried to replace this:

(')(*)(')

By:

(")(*)(")

But it doesn't seem to work.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Where are you actually trying to do this and how are you trying to do it?
