I have a roster in Excel (2013) that we use to track student status. In a separate worksheet tab, I have a list of students who we send information to.
What I would like to know is how can I use a lookup method (vlookup or other means) that will compare the ID# which we have column E, to a list that also contains the ID# and select value (ComMethod) of the row with the most recent date for that ID.
The format of the ComTrack tab is:
COL A: ComTrans
COL B: ID#
COL C: Date
COL D: ComMethod
