Let's say I select a control to add. I click on the form and it adds it. Now I want to add another control of the same kind.
I have to go back to the toolbox and select the same control again, every time I add it. This is the default.

There have been times when it adds that same control every time I click the userform (without reselecting the control), which is convenient IF you know how to toggle this on and off. Where is the toggle to turn this behavior on or off?.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
ok, by fiddling around, I see that double clicking the control causes it to remain selected until you pick the pointer control. Toolbox 101 :).
